Q: I can not do this with the demo of (they have not: ()

I wondering what demos allow you to do this?

Thanks .

Re:you can buy the full version of ghost2001 along with other norton utilities for about $12. (Norton systemworks suite 2001). Look in hot deals!

Re:Well thanks for the suggestion, but I got a copy of (the demo) and am able to use it…

Thanks though… :)

Re:While I've never used it personally, (I used good old xcopy which fubar'ed my long file names) one would stand to believe xcopy32 with the right switches (I know /e and /a are two you need) would copy one drive to another fairly easily. I'd definatly test it first to make sure it preserves the long file names.

Xcopy32 also doesn't appear to be included with win2k, which I presume you're running. You might try pulling it off a win98 box under c:\windows\command. The version of xcopy in win2k might support long file names, I haven't tried it (when I used xcopy, it was under win98).

Xcopy /? will give you a list of command line switches and the helpfile.

You'd have to format /s first to make the drive bootable.

Re:I realize that Mr.Bond…

:)

Drive Image…

I'll have to see if I can find a demo or something…

Thanks :)

Re:You know why we get lots of software related posts in GH? It's because people rarly read this (and many of the other) forums. This is a simple question, yet you haven't gotten an answer yet.

Drive Image does this. Not sure if there is a demo or not…

I prefer . If you're doing it a lot, might as well buy it, it can't be that bad. That 500k program has saved me lots of headaches :)
