What's the best TIVO like software for PCs? [dual boot] [drive space]
Q: Would like to include movies I want the next time it comes (dont want to dig through listings), the series without duplicate records (again do not want to dig through listings) etc.
I preferably open source, but until it really contains spyware, i dont care.
Windows only, no hard drive space to dual boot linux
So many choices:

Re:I've used GBPVR in the past and the functionality was great but the UI was a bit raw. I'm not sure if its been polished up or not. I've also used media portal and liked it but its a work in progress. My favorite is probably Beyondtv, but I also own sagetv and would recommend them as well. I know you have to pay for them buy it may be worht it if you are going to be using it alot.
Re:MythTV is pretty good for Linux. I'm currently using GBPVR and I like it, but I haven't tried any of the others you suggested.

Myth is linux only, correct?
Yes Myth is Linux only.
I would reccomend trying out both GBPVR and Media Portal. Both are good products, and you can decide which you like better.
