Win2k has keys must be activated?

Q: I remember the whole thing started with XP activation. But no part of Win2k need a key activated? As SP3?

Correct, same model as XP. Corp versions (and those already tied to certain oem's), won't need activation. But if you go out and 'buy a copy' (like with xp), it will.
