Q: Im about to get to crazy .

Ive had several problems with Windows Installer before, especially in programs that the installer that looks like this:

http: / / .uploadit.org/fi use . 4-.jpg (http://.uploadit.org/files/Bob644-.jpg)

After installing SP2, it would just stop at the end of an installation without an error message and remove everything that had been installed up But until that point.

NOW after a full FORMAT hardk of the disk and a clean Windows XP install to a different problem exists.

I the first got the following error:
1607: Unable to Install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

Which established by installing ISScript9 . exe

Then, an error:
1608: InstallDriver not make, return code: 2147319784

And-thats where I get. I tried the Start-Run u003e u003e msiexec / regserver stuff, and the recording of C: Program Files Common Files InstallShield Driver Intel 9 32 IDriver.exe IDriver2.exe and thus with no luck 0.

Moreover, his manager and my provileges I went to a help site discussed the following:
Going to Start-Run-u003e u003e and type dcomcnfg click Component Services and then My Computer in DCOM setting privileges, but as soon as I click on the window just Computers Disappear.

Long story short: I need help. PLEASE! I tried to fix this stuff for ages: (

Re:I was connected to the internet for about a minute until installing SP2 and I have a Linksys Router that doesn't let people join my War Craft 3 games unless I open a port.

This really is a problem wih the software somehow, but just in case how do I know if I've been hacked?

Re:If you are installing while connected to the net (no firewall) then you are probably being hacked before you can patch the system up.

Otherwise I'm not sure.

Re:According to a website, the error has something to do with network connection settings.

The 1608 error you are experiencing is caused by the Install Shield application and how it interacts with certain Network configuration settings.

I noticed that in 'Network Connections' there isn't anything there. When I try to create a new network connection, I get something saying it's already been configured. What is up?

Either the harddisk is bad or going bad, or, the system is unstable/overclocked/bad drivers.

My guess.

The thing is though my system is running perfectly otherwise, with zero issues.
