Wow! Just Wow! I think I blew it! HELP PLEASE: ( [slave drive] [harddrive]

Question: Hi everyone, I have a big problem here. Yesterday I decided I needed a format, and I have 2 hard drives, each partioned into two drives. So I backup all my data in the second partition my , thinking that I will be able to use it after I format.

Today, I am stuck without my data. I can not go to the hard drive, because Im stupid? Well, I click on the hard drive in my computer and says: “Drive G is not formatted. If you design it?”. Of course I choose “No” I need that, because information desperately. So how can I get to the data in this drive? Is it possible? I really need help. It was all my school work: (Please Please (

Re:Alright sorry guys, I am stupid. I think Windows changed the drive letter for my partition, so I was clicking on the unformatted drive. So I got my back up data :) And guy, i found out about it while at disk management, so thank you :)

Re:Follow guy's advice, tell us what you see. For "next time," be sure to disconnect the second disk from power and IDE cables before doing the partitioning and formatting on the first (you may need to change the jumper on the first drive from master to single if it's a WD, so check the label on top to be sure), so you don't risk screwing up the second drive (which is hopefully what did not happen, but possibly could have).

Re:Go into Computer Management > Disk Management and see what it's seeing. If possible, could you post a screenshot?
